For Genevieve, that love for animals is personal. As a proud dog mom to three dogs of her own, she understands just how much pets mean to their families. Dogs are more than companions; they're part of the family, and they deserve to be treated with patience, kindness, and care. That belief helped inspire the vision for Freshcoat Grooming: a neighborhood salon where pet owners could feel confident leaving their furry family members in caring hands.

Freshcoat Grooming is another chapter in Genevieve and Hector's growing entrepreneurial journey. Together, they also own Southern Charm Renovations, a business that reflects their shared interest in transforming spaces and bringing new ideas to life. Their experience working together has helped shape their approach to building businesses, combining Genevieve's entrepreneurial vision with Hector's hands-on skills and dedication to bringing projects to fruition.
 

In addition to her partnership with Hector, Genevieve has built two businesses of her own: Genevieve & Co. and FreshCoat Nail Salon. Each venture represents another part of her entrepreneurial journey and her passion for creating welcoming, thoughtfully designed experiences for her clients.

With experience spanning multiple industries, Genevieve and Hector saw an opportunity to combine their strengths once again. Freshcoat Grooming would allow them to bring a shared love for animals into a business that serves local pet owners while creating another meaningful addition to their growing portfolio.

Drawing on his experience with Southern Charm Renovations, Hector took an active role in renovating the Freshcoat Grooming space. From the work involved in transforming the interior to helping bring the overall vision together, his hands-on contributions played an important role in preparing the salon to welcome its first furry clients.
 

The renovation was more than simply creating a functional grooming space. It was about building an environment that felt inviting, comfortable, and reflective of the care they wanted every pet and pet parent to experience. Seeing the idea develop from a concept into a finished salon made the opening of Freshcoat Grooming a special milestone for both Genevieve and Hector. Their combined efforts helped turn an idea into a neighborhood business, with every step bringing them closer to creating a place where pets could be pampered and owners could feel at ease.
